Upgraded various plugins including the shop and the main site script.
10 July 2009 additions:
This week the background and text colour were changed from it’s lovely lilac and purple to white with black text to ensure that all visitors can view the pages and read the content easily.
The free Hot Tips download has now been fixed in so that visitors can see it when using Internet Explorer.
A newsletter subscription page has been created along with a Frequently Asked Questions section and associated pages which are open to comments to enable REGISTERED members to add their queries.
New sections have been created that display visitor statistics and users currently online.
A Links page has been added that displays our stockists and venues.
An Index has been added to the site which is accessible from the top navigation menu. This displays all the pages and posts in alphabetical order for ease of use.
The WordPress system has also been updated to the latest version : 2.8.1 using 11 plugins.
June 2009 Updates:
A variety of plugins and widgets are used with the WordPress install to enhance the user experience as well as ease the administration of the site. The following are a few of the plugins used on this site:
PDA: Allows people using mobile phones, PDA’s and Palm to view the site.
Gigpress: Displays events in brief in the sidebar, rss feed and page with related posts
WP-eStore: Displays our products which visitors can purchase online
NextGen Gallery: Used in conjunction with WP-eStore
